There are many myths surrounding the rigors of kicking the smoking habit, and many of the myths have been found to be just that, myths. Most of the myths surrounding kicking the smoking habit have come about due to the perceived rigors of kicking the smoking habit. It is true that kicking the smoking habit can be challenging, but is accomplished daily by many individuals around the world.
One of the greatest myths about kicking the smoking habit, is the myth that an individual must have artificial assistance in kicking the habit. In essence, kicking the smoking habit is very similar to kicking any drug addiction, due to the fact that nicotine is a highly addictive substance. To kick this habit, an individual must seek to detox the body of the nicotine, through drinking large amounts of water, as well as exercise that help to circulate the blood and excrete toxins. Whenever one feels the urge to smoke, immediately begin to exercise, which will release natural endorphins in the brain and give them a natural high, instead of a nicotine high. The reality of kicking the smoking habit is that it will take a great deal of diligence and determination.
