Blue Ridge Hunt Established 1888. Recognized 1904. P.O. Box 96 Boyce, VA 22620 Field Secretary: Vail Juhring Hunt Attire: Scarlet, blue collar. Evening - scarlet, light blue facings and darker blue collar. Meets Tues, Thurs, Sat. The country lies in Clark County, in Warren County, north of Front Royal, in Shenandoah County, north of Route 675, in Frederick County, south of Route 50 and west of Route 11 in Virginia and in Jefferson County, WV. It is mainly rolling farmland with open pastureland and orchards. Jumps are chicken coops, some tiger traps, posts and rails with a few stone walls. web site Top
Bull Run Hunt Established 1911. Recognized 1954. P.O. Box 14 Mitchells, VA 22729 Hon. Secretary: Kristin Ford Hunt Attire: Scarlet, Confederate gray collar. Evening - scarlet, gray lapels and gray piping on collar. Meets Mon, Thurs, Sat. The country near Culpeper, VA, is approximately 25 by 25 miles in Orange, Madison and Culpeper counties. It is a mixture of gently rolling pasture, cropland, and woods, paneled with coops, post and rail, and timber. web site Top
Casanova Hunt Established 1909. Recognized 1910. P.O. Box 105 Casanova, VA 20139 Hon. Secretary: Mrs. Jack Campbell Hunt Attire: Scarlet, old blue collar and old blue or canary yellow waistcoat. Evening - scarlet, old blue collar with scarlet-faced lapels. Meets Tues, Thurs, and Sat. The country is located in central and eastern Fauquier County, southeast Culpeper County, northeast Orange County, northeast Spotsylvania County and western Stafford County. It is a mixture of open grass country and woodlands. Fences are mostly timber and coops. Top
Deep Run Hunt Club Established 1887. Recognized 1899. P.O. Box 314 Manakin-Sabot, VA 23103 Club Manager: Barbara A. Rugus Meets Tues, Thurs, and Sat. Hunt Attire: Scarlet, Confederate gray collar. Evening - Confederate gray facing. The country extends from the eastern end of Goochland County from Manakin to the Court House and includes some of the area around Rock Castle (approx 45,000A). New country is in Cumberland County north of Route 60 to Cartersville (approx 60,000A). Jumps are chicken coops, posts and rails, and planks. web site Top
Fairfax Hunt Established 1927. Recognized 1933. P.O. Box 902 Great Falls, VA 22066. Hon. Secretary: Virginia Richardson Hunt Attire: Scarlet, old gold collar. Evening - scarlet, old gold collar, green facings, white waistcoat. Meets Weds, Sat, or Sun. The country is partly in eastern Loudoun County and partly in western Loudoun County. Wooded and open cattle and crop farms with jumps that are chicken coops, stone walls, and rails. web site Top

Glenmore Hunt Established 1930. P.O. Box 396 Staunton, VA 24402 Secretary: Ms. Diane F Gibbs Located in Augusta County, Virginia, the Glenmore Hunt enjoys the sport of organized foxhunting and social occasions which are appropriate to the sport. The Glenmore Hunt annualy share opening hunts with the Rockbridge Hunt near Lexington and joint meets with a number of other hunts in Virginia. web site Top
Keswick Hunt Established 1896. Recognized 1903. P.O. Box 227 Keswick, VA 22947 Hon. Secretary: Mrs. Scott Townsend Tel: 540-672-4991 Hunt Attire: Scarlet, green collar, green vest. Evening - scarlet, green collar and piping. Meets Mon, Wed, and Sat. The country is located in Montepelier, Madison and Orange counties and features river bottomland, rolling woods and fields with little cultivation, some steep and trappy country in the Blue Ridge foothills. Jumps are chicken coops over wire, telephone poles, natural log panels, post and rails, board fences and stone walls. Top

Hunt Attire: Scarlet, black velvet collar. Evening - same. Meets Wed, Sat, holidays and some bye days. The country is aproximately 25 by 18 miles. Agricultural, with some development, fenced with coops, barways, post and rails, stone walls and board fences. The second of Loudoun's two packs adopted the name Loudoun West in 1994. It was recognized administratively as a separate pack in 1995. Top
Old Dominion Hounds Established 1924. Recognized 1925. P.O. Box 39 Orlean, VA 21028 Hunt Attire: scarlet, brick- colored britches. Evening - scarlet, red collar and facings. Meets Tues, Thurs, and Sat. The country is approximately 100 square miles of rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Fauquier and Rappahannock counties, mostly pasture with large woodlands, extensively paneled with coops, some natural rail fences and stone walls. web site Top
Orange County Hunt Established 1900. Recognized 1902. P.O. Box V The Plains, VA 20198 Hon. Secretary: Mary S. Hutchison Tel: 540-687-6885 Hunt Attire: Scarlet for staff only; no scarlet in the field, no hunt collars, buttons only. Evening - scarlet, white facings. Meets Mon, Wed, and Sat. The country is irregular in size, but averages about 16 by 12 miles in northern Fauquier County near Middleburg. Rolling, moderately wooded, paneled with coops, post and rails, logs on stone walls and crossed by two main streams from south to north. Top
Piedmont Fox Hounds Originally established as a private pack in 1840. Recognized 1899. P.O. Box 13 Upperville, VA 20184 Hon. Secretary and Jt. Master: F. Turner Reuter, Jr. Tel: 540-687-5780 Hunt Attire: Scarlet, old gold collar. Evening - scarlet, old gold collar and waistcoat. Meets Tues, Thurs, and Sat. The country is situated at the northern end of the Piedmont Valley about 60 miles from Washington, DC. It is about 20 by 12 miles in a grain growing and grazing country made up of large farms. Fences are stone and wood, with post and rails. Top
Princess Anne Hunt Recognized 1937. Secretary: Linda Defazio Located in Charles City County The Pack is Cross-bred Foxhounds Hunting season begins the last Saturday in October at Opening Meet with the traditional Blessing of the Hounds, and concludes in early March. Princess Anne Hunts on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays during deer season. web site Top
Rappahannock Hunt Established 1926. Recognized 1953. P.O. Box 315 Sperryville, VA 22740 Hon. Secretary: Mary Potter Hunt Attire: Scarlet with cobalt blue collar. Evening - scarlet with Confederate gray collar and old gold lapels. Meets Wed, Sat, and Sun. The country is approximately 30 by 20 miles, situated in Rappahannock, Madison and Culpeper counties in the Blue Ridge foothills. It is made up of rolling pastures, open valleys, wooded mountainsides, with rail fences, panels, coops and some old stone walls. web site Top
Warrenton Hunt Established 1887. Recognized 1893. 179 Broadview Ave Warrenton, VA 20186 Hon. Secretary: Susan Keyser Tel: 540-347-5602 Hunt Attire: Scarlet, white collar. Evening - same. Meets Mon, Wed, and Sat. The country is rolling grass, 35 by 10 miles, fenced with stone walls, plant and rail fences, wire paneled with chicken coops and post and rails. Top

Visit ECHO HILLS NURSERY the delightful small nursery next door (easy acces through a little gate from the parking lot) Here you will find many interesting plants and shrubs and Gayle a very knowledgeable nursery woman happy to discuss her many offerings with you.
From the nursery you can enter PINE LANE FLORIST, which in addition to a florist shop has a nice selection of reproduction antiques and gifts. Need to send flowers to your hostess? Sherri is a creative floral designer with some interesting ideas. Call 364-2836
OLD SALEM RESTAURANT Directly across the street from us, this "down home" style restaurant has long been a favourite in our area. Coming through Marshall on your way to hunt? This restaurant is open for BREAKFAST, real breakfast with all the trimmings,at 6:00a.m LUNCH offers a variety of sandwiches with daily lunch specials. DINNER is definitely a "meat and potato" affair in the classic American way. Prices are unbelievably reasonable! No better deal around. Beer and limited wines.

Feel like CHINESE? We have it here in Marshall, and it is good. Best as a take out. I have found this to be pretty good food but no atmosphere in the restaurant. Call 364-6980 and they will have it ready and waiting for you.

THE PLAINS
THE RAIL STOP 5 minutes from The Old Habit, open for LUNCH and DINNER This restaurant is now best known for it's famous owner Robert Duval who may be ocassionaly found in attendance when in between filmings. A tastefully decorated interior with a good menu selection executed by a very experienced chef. A delightful dining experience. Dinner reservations definitely recomended. (540)253-5644
